Low Season is a Thai movie adapted from real stories of real people. Lin, played by Ploypailin Thangprapaporn, believes that she is single because she is too careless, too ugly, and too negative. However, the real reason is that she can “see ghosts.” After being dumped, she decides to go alone on a cathartic vacation, ending where she begins. Lin travels to the Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail in Northern Thailand where she meets Pud, played by Mario Maurer. Pud is a screenwriter, who in order to find the inspiration for a script for a horror film wishes to enlist the help of those who can see ghosts. These two lowly travelers meet unexpectedly and embark on a series of adventures. They meet a group of people at a hostel and each discovers new love during their low-season trip.
